In our Harbor Springs showroom, you can see and feel every natural material that goes into our mattresses—layers of pure cotton, wool, and natural latex, the way they truly are. Nothing is hidden or sealed away.
We keep cutaway models and sample layers on display, so you can understand what makes a hand-tufted mattress breathe, support, and last. Each fiber tells its story in texture and touch—proof that what’s inside is every bit as honest as what you feel on the surface.

Our flagship showroom is connected to the same workshop where each bed is made by hand—stitched, sewn, layered, tufted, and finished with care. Guests are welcome to see our craftsmen at work and explore the natural materials that shape every design.

For more than twenty years, we’ve been handcrafting and hand-tufting mattresses in our hometown of Harbor Springs—each one built with honesty, skill, and time-honored care. We believe sleep should feel natural and restorative, not complicated. Every bed is made by hand from real materials, layered and tufted for lasting comfort and peace of mind that endures through the years.
Helpful questions to plan your visit
Can I visit outside of regular hours?
Absolutely. We’re a destination store, and we know travel schedules don’t always line up with 10 a.m.–5 p.m. If you need an after‑hours or private appointment, just call or email us and we’d be glad to schedule an appointment at a time that works for you.
Do I need an appointment for a workshop tour?
No. We appreciate appointments for large groups, but workshop tours are always welcome during normal business hours. Our craftsman are generally off on Saturdays so Monday through Friday is the best time to see our workshop and in action.
Can I see where they are made?
Yes! We love giving tours through our handcrafted production facility where you can see our seamstresses and craftsmen at work. Tours are welcome Monday through Saturday during normal store hours.
Group tours are also welcome. Please give us a call or email so we prepare to accommodate larger tours.
What makes your mattresses different from big-name brands?
We handcraft every mattress in the USA using time-honored techniques and natural materials—not foams or fillers. Unlike mass-produced options, our mattresses are built to last decades and are trully artisan made. Our approach is the opposite of planned obsolescence prevalent in the industry.
How long will this mattress last?
With proper care, our mattresses are designed to last 25 years or more —far longer than the typical 7–10 years of most modern mattresses.
Do you use any foams or synthetic materials?
No. We never use polyurethane foams, memory foams, or flame-retardant chemicals. Our materials include natural latex, organic cotton, and wool—better for you and the planet.
Can I choose the firmness level?
Yes. We offer a range of comfort options—from soft to firm.
